The showbiz pair have been dating for over a year and are expecting their first child in July together, but despite ongoing rumours that the pair are set to tie the knot sooner than later, a source has alleged that the Otis rapper is steering clear of any nuptials because it could damage his finances.
“Kanye has real money. He won’t marry Kim because it would hurt his finances,” the insider told Star magazine.
“Kim is a shopaholic! She spends $350,000 a month on her credit cards.”
According to the insider, Kim has quite a shopping habit, enough to scare any man, and will spend thousands on having her outfits tailor made.
“She pays hundreds of thousands of dollars for designers to custom-make clothes for her, and she spent millions on Louis Vuitton handbags to match each outfit.”
Despite the new claim, Kim is one of the most successfull reality TV stars, with an estimated fortune of $40 million, according to The Richest, raking in millions from her popular TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashian, a fashion line, endorsments and personal appearances. So surely Kim has enough cash of her own to spend?
Kim finally reached a divorce settlement with her estranged husband Kris Humphries in April and has openly spoken about her desire to wed again and revealed to Ryan Seacrest that her previous marriages haven’t put her off one bit.
Meanwhile, it’s reported that Kim may give birth to her baby in France in order to be close to Kanye, who has been living in Europe while he puts the finishing touches on his new album.
Like any expectant mum Kim will most likely put her feet up after the birth, but it seems taking time off from her hectic schedule and filming commitments has caused some friction with her momager Kris Jenner.
“She’s feeling so drained at the moment and knows that things are only going to get harder when the baby’s here,” an insider explained to Star magazine.
“It’s made her realise that she won’t want to be filmed as much while she gets to grips with a new baby. Kim told her mom, Kris, that she deserves maternity leave from the spotlight, just like any other job.
